Lifelong Learning Programme
|
|
The Lifelong Learning Programme (2007-2013) is the European Community action programme. It covers all fields of education from pre-primary to adult learning.
The Lifelong Learning Programme is established to address the modernisation and adaptation of Member State's education and training systems, particularly in the context of the strategic Lisbon goals and addresses directly European citizens and stakeholders by providing opportunities to participate in it's mobility and other co-operation actions.
CIMO acts as the Finnish National Agency for Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). The main duties of the National Agency are:
- dissemination of information and guidance on the programme
- managing the selection process and distribution of grants
- monitoring, training and guiding of project promoters and individual participants
- disseminating information on the results, experience and outcome of the funded activities with other stakeholders at European and national level, such as the national authorities, other National Agencies and the Commission.
