CIMO's halls of residence

CIMO offers accommodation services to international researchers, students and trainees.

CIMO has three halls of residence, two in Helsinki and one in Otaniemi, Espoo, in Helsinki metropolitan area:

About halls of residence

All rooms are furnished single rooms in good condition with shared kitchens and bathrooms. Reservations are made by phone or by e-mail for a fixed term.

Flats are either for men or women, no mixed flats. There are no quotas for men and women, but rooms/flats are filled according to demand. Rooms in flats are single rooms. If needed, a childless couple can be accommodated in a flat with two single rooms.

Rent is paid in advance at the beginning of every month. Rent includes linen, kitchen utensils, water, heating, electricity and cleaning once a week.

Occupants arriving in the evening or during weekends need to make advance arrangements about collection of keys as halls of residence are unstaffed then.
