9th seminar on Cooperation between Finnish and Russian Institutions of Higher Education

Thank you for participating in the 9th Seminar on Cooperation between Russian and Finnish Institutions of Higher Education! Similar to the previous seminars in St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Joensuu and Turku, the seminar addressed current issues in Finnish-Russian university cooperation, related to the mobility of higher education students and staff and joint projects.

The seminar was jointly organized by the Centre of International Mobility CIMO (Finland), the Aleksanteri Institute (University of Helsinki) and the Association of Vice-Rectors for International Cooperation of Saint Petersburg Higher Education Institutions.


The seminar took place on Tuesday February 11th. Pre-seminar working sessions were organised on Monday February 10th. The programme of the pre-seminar day consisted of a FIRST networking meeting as well as two info sessions. The first info session (at 10 am) offered information on the Finnish-Russian HE cooperation for newcomers in the field. The second session (at 3 pm) concentrated on funding possibilities for Finnish-Russian HE cooperation, eg. in the context of the new Erasmus+ programme.

The language of the seminar was English.
