Brief Description:

The development objective of the project is as follows: Quang Tri Teacher Training College (QTTTC) delivers quality study programs reflecting the labor market needs and enhancing regional integration. Accordingly, the focus of the project is to open up new teaching and learning environments for teachers and students by using ICT in education more effectively and developing cooperation with the labour market through project-based learning. The approach for capacity development during the project is that JAMK and HAMK together with Hue University College of Education and University of Technical Education HCMC facilitate QTTTC in the development work through Training of Trainers approach. QTTTC forms development teams around the result areas of the project: ICT in education; partnering with working life and project-based learning; and action research methodology. The teams are supported through workshops during the development work and tutoring for other staff members of QTTTC in relation to the defined result areas. The project includes a study visit to Finland in relation to ICTE and working life cooperation. The study visit models the way HE institutions cooperate with enterprises and employers and what that would mean in practice for management, teachers and students. In addition, investments in library software will take place in order to develop use of new technology.
