Brief Description:
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen and further support the sustainable development of capacity at the university of Eldoret (UOE), so that UOE can better perform the education, research and extension mandates in the area of sustainable natural resource management therefore contributing to the improvement of livelihoods and to reverse the environmental degradation in Kenya.
The objective is to strengthen the educational capacity and societal role of UOE within the area of sustainable natural resource management by enhancing (a) curricula and subject-specific capacity, (b) pedagogical and ICT capacity, (c) community engagement, and (d) administrative and networking capacity. For achieving this purpose, the project will develop a series of activities within four result areas.

Practical aspects of the BSc forestry curriculum are strengthened
