Training period 6 months starting in January - March (to be agreed in separately)

Your tasks may include e.g. the following:

  • participating in business opportunity and client advise projects by information retrieval (Internet and other information databases, magazines and publications, sometimes also interviews)
  • participating in scoping and maintaining local network contacts
  • participating in Team Finland Future Watch
  • answering enquiries from local companies regarding Finnish markets and Finnish companies
  • producing basic info services to Finnish companies and authorities, translation tasks
  • general office administration including telephone and reception services, meeting and seminar arrangements, travel arrangements, mailing when necessary

EDUFI awards and administers these scholarships to students or recent graduates (at least 2 years´ studies, but maximum one year since graduation) studying e.g. economics and business administration or technology in universities or polytechnics. Also students of other faculties are welcome to apply, however a genuine interest in helping Finnish companies is needed to ensure a successful traineeship.

Market research and skills to asses and synthetisize large amounts of literature for the purpose of opportunity and investment potential. Ability to conduct telephone interviews.

The applicants should have experience in office work and/or customer service, good written skills and good skills in MS office and Internet search engines and social media. Previous international educational or work experience in the target market and interest in the local business are considered as advantage.

Fluent Spanish as well as fluent English (Finpro's corporate language) is a must. Knowledge of French is an asset. As the clients are Finnish companies, the trainee should also manage Finnish fluently. Open mind, energetic and active mindset empower a successful training period. Ability to work independently and as a memeber of the team is expected.

Scholarship 1000 euros/month
Working language
Spanish and English, Motivation letters in English and Spanish is required. Knowledge of French is an asset.
Accommodation Trainee is responsible for accommodation arrangements by him/herself.
Additional information

Travel insurance (i.e. traveller´s insurance and travel liability insurance) is provided by Finpro for the duration of the traineeship.

Finpro will cover flights to the host location as per the valid travel policy and spending limits.
