The editorial office is relatively small and everyone takes part in the editorial work. The trainee will take part in all phases of newspaper editing.

- Journalism / creative writing

- photography

- marketing skills/business experience

- translation

Salary EDUFI scholarship 1100 € / month
Working language English (application should be written in English) and Finnish

The employer will help in finding accommodation.

The Finnish American Reporter is a monthly English language newspapers that has readers mostly amongst the Finns living in Northern America.

Preselection of candidates is done at the Finnish National Agency for Education EDUFI, the employer makes the final decision. EDUFI provides information about visa application process. The trainee will need a J1-visa and will pay all the fees and costs him- /herself.
