Brief Description:

The foundation of the project is to increase knowledge about journalism and the standard of instruc¬tions in journalism in the four countries involved. One goal of the activity is to educate young journalists to meet complex social problems in their profession at all partner institutions. The project emphasizes the values which offer the basis for the profession, crucial for spreading relevant information among the citizenry. For journalism a deepening of professional education is badly needed as Master-level was lately introduced in Africa. The new master-level education raised an urgent need for teaching of teachers.
