Nordplus is the Nordic Council of Ministers' programme of lifelong learning.
CIMO is the national agency for the programme in Finland and the main administrator of Nordplus Higher Education.
The Nordplus Framework Programme offers financial support to educational cooperation in lifelong learning between partners in the Baltic and Nordic regions. The participating countries are Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden.
The Nordplus Framework Programme 2008–2011 consists of four sub-programmes

The Framework programme supports mobility, various projects and networking. The Nordplus family also comprises a programme for cooperation in the Nordic languages – Nordplus Sprog. This is targeted at the Nordic countries and the autonomous regions of Åland Islands, Faroe Islands, Greenland and the Sámi-speaking area.
In addition to the Nordplus programmes, CIMO is the national information point for the Nordic-Russian cooperation programme in education and research and the Nordic Master Programme. These are administered by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU).
