Results of the 2015 application round

The first call for proposals for Finnish Higher Education Institutions for student mobility in the framework of the Russia Pilot programme was organized in Autumn 2015. Altogether 8 proposals were received: 6 from research universities and 2 from universities of applied sciences. The total funding awarded is 156.000 euros (applied: 227.000) intended to cover approximately 50 short-term and 50 long-term mobilities from Finland to Russia. Russian HEIs may participate in the programme through the own state funding.

From the map below you will find all the Russian Pilot programme partner universities in Russia. Each dot in the map reflects one partner university and each color reflects one project. When selecting a dot, the name of the university and the name of the Finnish partner university will appear. In the left option bar you can see an overview of the projects, partner universities included.

Participating institutions

Financial contracts between Finnish Natioinal Agency for Education (EDUFI) and the coordinating HEIs of the 8 projects will enter into force in April 2016. Funding period for student mobility will last until 31.8.2017. Higher Education Institutions will report on the progress of the programme in August 2017.

EDUFI will make decisions on possible continuation of the programme during Spring 2017.
