CIMO has decided to give up the dormitories in the year 2012. Rental contract of Messeniuksenkatu has expired at the end of December 2011. Otatalo's activities will continue until August 31, 2012 and Antti Korpin tie's activities until December 31, 2012. From the beginning of August the landlord will be Senaatti-kiinteistöt.

CIMO has hosted the dormitories from it’s establishment in 1991. The government has subsidiaised the activity with a specific grant. CIMO will not be able to continue to host the dormitories in the current economic situation and hence has decided to give up the activity.

We will try to negotiate with the owner of the estates (Senaatti) and with the possible new owners to make sure that the houses will remain primarily in the use of students and researchers.
