Facts Express 3c/2014: THINGS YOU DON´T LEARN AT SCHOOL!

Non-formal learning methods are at least as effective if not even more effective than traditional methods used in schools in adopting important skills or attitudes. This is the conclusion of the international study that analysed learning in Youth in Action projects. A research-based analysis of the EU Youth in Action programme has been conducted since 2008. The research is coordinated by the Institute of Educational Sciences at the university of Innsbruck and involves 16 national agencies of the programme with their research partners.

This publication concentrates in particular on the results of the interviews of the Finnish participants and project leaders.
